Stourgarden are based on the Essex Suffolk border and have been farming onions since 1968. Now being run by the third generation of the Rix family, Stourgarden supply Onions and Garlic to the UKs largest retailer, food service and recipe box markets.
Agriculture and Farming both rely heavily on the environment and Stourgarden recognize they need to give back more than they take. Stourgarden pride themselves in working alongside Growers that farm responsibly and put back into the land, this includes water preservation, regenerative practices, soil management and a healthy crop rotation – & all of their British Growers are LEAF marque certified.
Having achieved their ambition of zero waste fit for human consumption in 2019, Stourgarden are now pressing forward with ambitious Net Zero targets."
